....so I'm guessing no DVI?

Text isn't super sharp. But I'm wondering if thats because I don't have a driver for the monitor. The driver for the Viewsonic cleared up the text problem due to the widescreen. I'm tryna find one for the Envision. 🙁

Thanks, but those drivers didn't work. I fixed the text issue. 🙂

This monitor is good stuff. As good as the Viewsonic. 🙂 Well worth the 230 bucks.

So is it safe to say this monitor is fine for gaming? I wonder if they have these in store. That way I wouldn't have to pay sales tax.

just a quick fyi... I saw this in store at the Costco in my excellent compatriot Rapids, MN yesterday for the price posted by the OP. They didn't have it powered up, but looked like it had promise.

Cool, I'm gonna swing by CostCo in a hour or so and see if they have any in stock. Even if it's not perfect, it'll be better than this 10yo 17" CRT. >_<

i got one a few days ago. Been playing world of warcraft in 1400x900. i love this monitor. only thing i dont like is the base doesnt swivel

For non-members:
The coupon is $60 and the membership is $45, so you save $15 and get a Costoc membership in the process of purchasing this monitor.

Ok, bought it and it seems nice so far, but i can't find a 1440x900 resolution option in Windows. Please tell me I'm not going to have to set up custom resolutions just to use the native one.

edit: Bah, MultiRes fixed everything up right. Very nice monitor so far.

How about when playing games?Bf2 doesn't have that resolution. Is there a program that allows custom resolutions for games?I have a evga 7800 gt card if that matters.
