Envision Monitor Rebates

Just a slight segue.... I bought this monitor during CompUcrap's Labor day sale... $60 rebate thru Envision. Been watching the status of this online at www.rebatestatus.com and STILL haven't received the check. Be wary if your rebates are going thru Envision... They'll take a while.

Carmann, I bought the last monitor in the store so no chance of getting another one. And I only had 5 minutes at a time to hold on the phone to rebateshq. A reasonable person would agree that I did my part. Sometimes they must suffer due to their long hold times and poor service. Makes up for the times I don't get my rebate like my Philips 8x burner.

I got the monitor on Black friday but the SKU says E 710e (rebate form mentioned rebate for model E 710). Does any one know that it would OK.

mnaeem25, it will be fine. When I got mine in Sept I thought the same thing. I called the rebate center and verified that the 710e did indeed qualify for the rebate.

I called the number on the Envision rebate before I bought the monitor and I read off the "Department number" for the $65 and $15 rebates. The CSR said she had no record of the rebate. This is very possible since it's a new rebate. I also inquired about the 710 and 710e and again she had no idea. I told her I was in the store and this will affect my purchase, but since they're a 3rd party they don't care about the sale.

Of course these rebate coupons make no mention of which stores they're valid at and we all know Staples purchases will be refused rebates. What a lure...

Anyone have a copy of the $70.00 rebate. It seems the rebate on staples website is gone. None of the links work. If you search for the EN-710 there is no rebate listed now. I think it was good til 12/3. They always leave the rebates up for a while after too. WTF!

I need help. Would someone please post the Envision $65.00 Rebate that was good from Nov. 1, 2001 - Dec. 31, 2001. I think the postmark was Jan. 15, 2001. Also has anyone tried to get the $100.00 Staples rebate along with the $65.00 Envision Rebate? The link that had the rebate is pointing to another rebate now and not the $65.00 one from Nov. - Dec. Thanks.

You are correct, the $65 rebate postmark date is 1/15. I'm going to try to do exactly what you have just mentioned. I sent my $100 Staples rebate first and now I'm gonna try the Envision one. I think I still have a copy of the Envision pdf at home so I can get it to you on Monday (lost my home internet thanks to f#cking Excite@Home). I think it would be a bad idea to try to redeem the $65 rebate if you've purchased it from Staples and redeemed the $100 rebate, but if you didn't:

The $15 rebate had to be postmarked last month.

I don't see a problem in sending in the $65 rebate if I bought it from Staples on black friday. The form makes no mention of what store it has to be bought from. Its a manufacturer rebate, its not going to the same place the staples one is. And it explicitly says, its only fraud if you send in multiple submissions of the same rebate. The other rebate was a staples one. I don't think staples will ever see this. Just my 2 cents, anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to tell me. I figure worst case is you waste a stamp. My box had multiple UPCs, so I guess I got lucky.

My experience:

I've bought 2 Envision monitors in the past year from Staples, with rebates totalling $150. Both good experiences and relatively quick returns

The first page of this thread has people cut and pasting the website info on participating dealers in posts dated Nov. 27, so it must have been posted on or before that date. It was also posted on that date that people had contacted Envision and were told that they, Envision, would not honor rebate requests for purchases made at Staples, as Staples had their own rebate processing center. Therefor it shouldn't be a shock to anyone that those rebate requests are now being denied.

Faint!! The 15$ is also invalid now. They sucks!! Never see anything on the rebate form say that the product buy from staples does not qualify the rebate.

I am 100% sure I saw it on 11/27, but i think I also saw it 11/22, while checking specs prior to purchase on black friday.
