Anybody have one of these? I am looking for a decent 19" to use for work and games. Don't want to spend alot because eventually I want to go for LCD(17+") when price come down more. I am using a 15" Sony right now.

im using an Envision 19 inch flat panel
it was the cheapest to buy at the time
and i haven't had one problem with it, bright crystal clear, and no lines like some of the other ones (although I did have to return the first one b/c it did have a line, but maybe it was b/c i was using a really long chord)
but anyway i love it, and if it lastsme 5-6 years, it was well worth it...but if it dies in < 1 a year, i'd be mad)

I'm using the 910 right now from the staples deal. Next to my roommates trinitron it looks like a fishbowl but its everything it advertises to be.

I got the EN-910 on the Staples deal in March or so.. It has been a great addition to my new computer that I built. Well worth $170! A minor complaint is one mini black dot the size of a pixel or so that I only see if I TRY to find it, other than that I don't even see it.

I got the 17" (EN-780?) a couple of weeks ago and I like it just fine for what I paid ($160 - a $70 rebate I haven't received yet). There are a lot of monitor :| snobs around, and it's easy to be convinced that you need a high end ($$$) monitor, but I doubt for 99% of people it really makes any difference as long as it's halfway decent, which Envision monitors certainly seem to be.

We just bought 2 of the EN-910 last saturday over at CompUsa for $169.95+tax. So far after almost a week of use both monitors are performing well and the picture quality isn't half bad. Were also hoping to but LCD's when the price drops but for now these monitors will work just well. If we get 3 years out of them it will cost us $60/yr/monitor. That's not to shabby.

I bought one for a system I built for my brother, it's a decent monitor for the money. My only real complaint is the click when you change resolution.

They either bought AOC, or are the value brand of AOC. I've heard of AOC and think they're okay, so I like to think that Envision must be at least okay too.

I got the 17" EN-780 Flat (BS) screen on the Staples deal for $100. I'm not a monitor snob but the one I got sucks big time. Not really flat, looses it's settings, flickers on any refresh rate above 60, slow resolution change and lots of clicking sounds. I'm going to Staples this weekend and exchanging it for another one. I'll put my 5 year old 17" Gateway Vivitron back in for now.

I'd stay away from Envision. I do like the KDS 19" monitors. Reasonably priced and you can usually pick up a pretty good deal with rebates/coupons at the office supply stores.
