This might be a good deal, but I would wait for the EN-780e to go back on sale for ~$100. The 780e has a higher max resolution and refresh rate. Compare the two at Envision

How would this compare to the NEC MS75 17" CRT Monitor w/$30 Mail-in Rebate ($159-$30 coupon - $30 rebate) -- costs more but is it a better worse or equivilant model.

Just as an FYI, this deal ended up being REALLY hot for me. I placed the order with a 30 off coupon which brought the total to 150 or 100 AR. I then discovered that Amazon has the same monitor for $151, so I called back and the CSR credited my credit card for $33 with the 110% PM. Total for me AR= $67. Not too bad for a 17" Flat.

BTW, talking to the CSR, he said the system showed that I was getting a EN-780e instead of the EN-770e. Not much difference in the models, but the EN-780e does 1600X1200 @ 75 Hz which is a little better than the EN-770e's 1280X1024 @ 60hz. I guess they must be out of stock of the 770 and are substituting the 780.
