Envision EN-710 17" Monitor $69.99 after rebates @ staples.com

Pretty impressive deal if you're looking for a low-end monitor. With .27mm dot pitch it's definitely no graphics workstation, but that price just can't be beat. Nice find!

Great find Purvin.

I just got it and added the following items so I could use the $40 coupon that is expiring Today!!!

80 Pack monitor wipes, Item #911190 for $4.15

MS WheelMouse, Item #356550 for $19.99

Bringing the total before taxes to $204.12

Less $40 off $200 coupon $164.12

Tax will be less than $10, shipped free and Staples Does Pay the $80 rebate as I just got my check from them on a $60 & $70 Pixie monitor rebate.😀

Awesome. got one with an ide cable, 2 ps/2 extension cable, and some cdrws. used the 40 off 200.

there is a non-expiring 40 off 200 coupon on that tech site.

Can you still use the rebate if you use the 30 off 100 coupon? On the rebate is says offer not valid with any other rebates, offers or promotions. So, does anyone know if the rebate is still good if you use the coupon?

I'm there...

$159.32 (including tax) after $30 off $150 purchase coupon.

- 80.00 rebate (submitted electronically with UPC mail-in verification)

=$79.32 delivered on Monday =)))

Even if it sucks, it's got 3 years parts/labor warrantee.

It's gonna be great for my cablemodem-based webserver 🙂

Sweet, thanks for the heads-up Purvin.

No longer will I have to bash the gf's cruddy 15" screen into the wall to get it to display reds.

The neighbors thank you.

this is really a good deal, but one thing I must find out is if this company makes reliable product and if whats the refresh rate for 1024*768

Thanks!!great deal, got one too!! delivered on 2-19...I'm guesing from the stats it can do 1024X768 at 85mhz??? Hope so, if not I can always bring it back to staples...

What about this language in the rebate form:

"Offer not valid with any other rebates, offers or promotions. "

Does that disqualify us because of the $30 or $40 off coupons we are using?

According to their website, Envision has been around awhile but I haven't heard of it. Also can't find any reviews. Might be that Envision does a lot of OEM for other companies. Anyone know anything about em?

EDIT: I have been reading about Envision on their website. It seems that they are known as Envision Peripherials Inc, or EPI. They also make AOC brand monitors. They say they have been in the monitor manufacturing business for a long time and that they are in the top 5-10 list of monitor manufacturers for numbers they have made, etc. Appears that they have been concentrating on making monitors OEM for other companies and they are just now entering the retail market. They just started selling the Envision monitors at staples in January of this year. This deal with the $80 rebate must be to advertise their brand and to start making a retail market presence. This kind of sounds like what Pixie started doing last year.
Even with all of this information it still does not tell us if this is a quality monitor.

EDIT_2: Based on my first experience with this monitor it is not a quality monitor. Envision will not do well in the retail market selling products like this.

Any hits trying to pricematch this with another site? I've looked around but haven't been able to pull up anything yet.
