If, if you guys are looking for a cheap panel, Fry's (at least in SD) have an Envision 7410 17" LCD for $249 - $60 rebate so it's $190AR.

Nope, no DVI; and slight ghosting but no biggie. CS plays fine @ 1280x1024, 60Hz.

Don't judge me! :(

I would not buy any Evinsion monitors anymore. As we talk I have one and it sucks... It is like paying money to get stuck with some piece of junk. BEWARE OF ENVISION MONITORS.

I've owned one for 3 years and it's great (7100E). I wouldn't hesitate buying another. Their customer service is equally great. I needed a part that was missing in my box and they overnighted it to me. Can't get better service than that. $190 AR is the best price I've seen for a 17" monitor, Even a junky no-name monitor will cost more.

I think the sale was for 26th only, but I disagree that envisions suck, at least this one doesn't. I got this monitor and it's great, for the money I've paid (assuming I get the rebates of course) it's unbelievable. No dead pixels, plenty of brightness and contrast, the text is very sharp (better than on my two-year old samsung 170 or was it 171?), no problem with auto-adjusting that so many cheap monitors have, and decent design. Picture-wise this monitor would give a run to $300-400 monitors from major brands. I had my doubts when I bought it because I very well know that when you buy a $200 LCD you never know what you get, you might get a decent monitor or you might get a piece of garbage, this one is really good.
