Entry Phone question: Moto or Google?

I have been a Moto user for a while. My E4 has been great to me as an entry level phone, except it needs more RAM. Since my work requires me to use the company's proprietary security software for encryption and decryption on the phone, it is just painfully slow whenever I need to run it along with another company app.

Well, the wife still doesn't wants to spend an arm or a leg for a hpone, so I have been looking at Moto Z3 Play (with Power Pack), G7 Power, and Google Pixel 3A. The Z3 Player with the pack is only 229, about 70 bucks cheaper than the Pixel. G7 Power is newer, but 32 GB storage and 1 GB less on RAM which makes the Z3 Play a little more attractive.

My coworkers have Pixel 3A and 4, and all of them have cracked rear glass. One thing I miss on it is the phone jack and ability to use sd card so I will be forced to use Drive.

For Z3 Play, does anyone has used/owned one and can tell me the pros and cons? Thx!

my vote is always a galaxy used with highest specs you can afford, the galaxy 11 or 20 is going to come out feb 11 (SO SOON!) i been eyeing galaxy s10+ for a gift to my brothers but trying to wait till the 11 comes out. (i see them 512gb for about 420 with no cracks or anything)
As far as cracked back well thats because all the new phones have glass backs to be sleek, what you can do is put a case on it of course. (i use a speigen and drop my phone so much been super lucky yet to break a screen since tmobile wing days) ((oh wait i broke a galaxy s7 when crashed motobike but of course any phone would have cracked))

so yea these are unlocked or verizon prices, att might be lower price.
galaxy s9+ for 220
note 9 for 240ish
galaxy s10e for 300
galaxy s10+ 512gb for 400ish
would be my choices, but i have no problem buying used to get more for my money. i never have considered a moto anything, but camera really plays a good part of my choice and bang for buck.

It wa a Samsung J7 through T-mobile. She has a LG Fiesta now. I didn't had any issue with the J7, but for some unknown reason she just didn't like it at all.

well IMO the J7 is not even a real samsung phone its a nothing phone with nothing parts. what soc does it even use something from 10 years ago? samsung flagships are what i was talking about.

1.5GB of RAM. The phone has versions 8GB or 16GB of internal storage
This phone is officially released with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 is available for J700F in India on 28 July 2016.

talk about entry phone! i think i would pay less than 30 or 40 for a j7

The Motos can be found fairly cheap occasionally on slickdeals. I got my Z2 Force last year for $100. It's more phone than I need. It looks like the Z3 Play unlocked goes for $150 when it's on sale. I can't comment on comparisons.

I will note that for my Z2 Force that I put a screen protector on it right away. We were told it doesn't have a glass screen instead it is plastic and can scratch. No idea if the Z3 is the same way.

I have a Z2 play and Z2 force and love them. They are really made well phones. I can only imagine the Z3 would be better. Hell, I even have some moto-mods.

Yeah, that J7 was an entry phone for her. Guess it ruined her experienced. =/

I think one plus 7 will also be a good option. I am using it for last 6 months and it's working great.
