Entreprise like security for home computers

Greetings all,

I found this and im wondering if the solution or part of it could be implemented directly on a home computer/network, without the usb key.
By solution i mean the different types of security layers involved in the original approach.

1 What does Layer 8 security engine means ? i read about the concept of layer 8 but i really dont understand what the engine is and will also appreciate to know more about the Multy Layer security Agent.
2 Is it possible to box in the entire stuff (L-8 Security Engine, Http Proxy, Vpn Client...) in a kinda of iso file then install it on a machine that will act as a gateway for a home network ? or one is better off with the Yoggie solution, money and time consuming wise.

Ok, i take it Yoggie solution is a "mambo jambo" thing...? or is it something else.
I will like to add that my goal is to build a similar protection layers system, and not per se with the same softwares used by Yoggie. So copy rights issues are put aside right away...should that be the reason why no one wants to jump in
