Enterprise Network Layout

1) Never use Hubs if you can use a switch.

2) No need to use routers to connect end devices to your switching fabric.

3) You _should_ have a router on this side (client side) of the firewall though. Preferably first thing. (Instead of the Bridge).

4) You would not normally need a second firewall in between your client systems and your production/servers. You can do that, if you're very paranoid, but more importantly IMO, I would prefer to see them on a separate VLAN off your edge router, or otherwise have their own switching fabric.

5) I am not sure what "Data pipe" means in this context. Please explain?
