It's a great show right now. I think bit torrent is helping to kill the ratings though. If you go on suprnova on the wednesday of a new episode there are thousands of people downloading the episode.

Not only that but there is a group on IRC that has bit torrents for every single past episode as well. Its gotta be one of the most bit torrented shows around.

Yeah some Voyager storylines where they avoid the borg and do all these amazing things are far too stretched and Enterprise is stomping on the timeline a fair bit....and introducing alien races nobody has ever seen before.

:D Tuesday night is fun because I can watch the copies pulled off of the satellites, and then Thursday is also fun because I can grab the HDTV version.

PS I'm going to kill the next person that complains about the timeline. Can't you just sit down and enjoy the show for what it's worth?

Thats more of a problem with UPN than anything, there are alot of places that cant get UPN (myself included) and the only way I have to watch UPN shows is to torrent them. Not to mention UPN has it in prob the worst possible spot. Its gotta compete with smallville which im sure takes away alot of viewers.

Couldn't have said it better. And prequels generally don't work as well, ala Star Wars. Do we all agree that episodes 4-6 are better than 1 and 2 so far?

Episodes 1 & 2 have merit because they are all new and we have only had the excellent 4-6 for ages.

first season of Enterprise sucked badly. Current season has been good.
That would suck for them to cancel it just when it picks up momentum.

Too bad, I really like Enteprise because it's by far the most realistic series out of all of 'em. I mean just look at the weapon systems of Enterprise, they don't use those ridiculous "aim and shoot but I keep missing" type hand phasers, they actually have a scope that focuses on the victim at great distances. When I watch a tng rerun now, I just cringe whenever there's a battle scene as it's just so lame. Also, nothing about the timeline is being affected. Watch tonight's episode and see how things turn out, everything is falling into place as it should (don't want to ruin it for anyone who didn't see it yet).

I use to watch it until my antenna got screwed up, now I don't get Channel 2 (CBS) & channel 13 (UPN). I kinda stopped watching it for awhile because they kept showing reruns.

I'm a huge Star Trek fan (I've seen most of all the series and the movies), and Enterprise is amoung my favorites.

AFAIK, next Feburary's sweeps ratings (4 episodes) will be critical. Although there is no reason for me to believe that the ratings will tank suddenly (its actually showing some improvement since the end of season 2), it would be nice to see higher ratings because I feel that this season is a marked improvement over the last two in almost all respects. If Enterprise is cancelled, Star Trek will be pretty much cancelled for a long time.

Yep.

Captain Picard: "Geordi, we have 1 minute to redesign the entire electrical system for the ship or we'll all die. Get to it."

I went and read the original articles and it is rumour at the moment based on UPN telling Enterprise and Jake 2.0 that they were safe, and then cancelling Jake 2.0 and cutting number of episodes of Enterprise. So, it may just be executive wierdness.

As for fix of Sci-Fi, I did see at the same site that Battlestar Galactica may get 6 episodes.
