Skilling was found guilty on 19 counts of conspiracy, fraud, false statements and insider trading. He was found not guilty on eight counts of insider trading.

Lay was found guilty on all six counts of conspiracy and fraud.

In a separate bench trial, Judge Sim Lake ruled Lay was guilty of four counts of fraud and false statements.

Both Lay and Skilling could face 20 to 30 years in prison, legal experts say.

they won't. they have friends in high places *couBUSHESgh*. none that want to tarnish their career by directly offering assistance. But i'm sure strings will get pulled to send them to a nice "white collar" federal prison, the kind with minimal security, long walks on the beach, and without ass raping. too bad though.

Great news. Better than I would have ever hoped. With his low approval rating, I don't think Bush will dare to interfere. Here's to hoping that both those fsckers rot in prison a long time and then die there.

i dont think so. there seems to be a LOT of backlash on them. people are really upset that they were able to steal millions and ruin so many lives.

but knowing how the courts has been they will get off with probations.

They couldn't put them in population anyway. Are you kidding? Even the child rapists would attack them. They wouldn't last even as long as Dahmer did.

I doubt it. Even Marth Stewart did time, so i'll bet these guys will probably get 5-10.

Most criminals come from the poorer classes. They don't like rich white bastards who steal grandma's pension fund.

In rich people term, that means 6-9 months in minimum security penitentiary where the residents are corporate execs. found guilty of insider trading, stealing money from the company, and cooking the books.

Two years in a private cell with top security, Xboxes, HDTV and good dining. It's gonna be like staying at home for a while.

A couple years in a resort prison. Early release with an ankle bracelet. Write a book and get a TV show.

Wait a minute ..... this sounds familiar. Hmmmmm.
