Enough time has pass so I thought I would tell my story...

Last year, my faithful metallic pink Japanese car finally died from a blown oil seal that leaked ATF all over the ground. Since the car was about 15 years old pushing about 165K miles, I know that I was not going to pay for repairs and so I decided to give the car away. And then the nightmare began...

I decided to give the car away so I put out a local advertisement on Craigslist to donate the car to anyone who wanted to come by to have it towed. I left the car in front of my house since it was not drivable and the first person who called me asked if he can come by to take a look at the car. I gave him my address and the license plate and he later told me that he came by to see the car. He liked it and now threaten me(small claims court) if I did not give him the car. Now I was muffed and said basically that our conversation was over. When I got home that day, this guy was hanging near my house threatening me about taking me to small claims court - yada,yada...

So he took me to small claims court and later - the judge ruled in my favor. In court, I had a little chat-why are you doing this to me when you should be making about $200 bucks an hr.? Then this person wanted to claim that the judge was impartial to this case. This later was eventually dismissed, too!

This guy is a psychiatrist with a MD degree...

Well, the lawsuit is complete BS of course, but why didn't you give him the car if he wanted it and you wanted to give it away?

Just another idiot trying to gather data for a book he's writing IMO.

You should've counter-sued for money because you were "mentally distraught and suffered psychological trauma due to the flaming threats by the psychiatrist"

hm..yeah...book or paper to publish.

why didnt u donate to salvation army? then it's tax deductible

Yeah, I'm confused. Do you still have the car?

From what I got out of it, he did intend on giving him the car up until he threatened him. I mean, would you really give the car to some dumbass who is threatening you?
