There should be links to videos at csnation.net. Also, I think there are more links in the first post on the main page of that site.

isn't counter strike an old game? does the source have new enhancements or something?

just better graphics, and with havok physics

At least it sticks with what works, unlike doom 3.

Doom 3 stuck with what worked, the only difference being it worked over 10 years ago. With CS, it's worked the past 5 years so far.

With that said, I think CounterStrike is the most overhyped and overplayed game of all time. This is my opinion, however. The reason I can't stand it is all the little sissy babies playing, and everyone cheats to some point or another. Same thing with SOCOM on the PS2. It could be great, but you just gotta play with the right players, which I don't have time to find.

But I can't wait for some HL2 gaming goodness!

It's actually meant to be the same old game. That was exactly what they intended, except making changes that take advantage of the source engine; changes which are mainly in the graphics and physics engine.

I realize I'm probably in the minority here, but am I the only one who thinks the graphics in those screenshots aren't all that great? Certainly not better than anything that's out right now IMO.

Of course, this is only from looking at those screenshots from one level of the game, so I could be wrong. :p

Yeah, for the most part, the graphics have been done before, but what I think gives the Source engine an extra shine is the way light interacts with the environment. Light goes in beams through windows, shines off the floors, filters through smoke. The physics engine is something that I don't think can be matched by anything currently out, from the HL2 and CS:S videos. I don't think I saw many physics effects in Doom3. Also it's cool that the Source engine appears to be as adaptable or more so than the original HL engine.

CS:Source is counterstrike on the half life 2 engine (named source). It's basically ported over with some update. No news on DoD:Source though
