it's enough a 250 watt power suply to feed a P4 (socket 478/SDRAM) with a couple of hard drives and a Vodoo5 ?

probably not, especialy if is a crap brand. I have learned that powersupplys are pretty damn important, go get a nice one.
 
Why is it a lot of people want to skimp on the power? I don't get it! I'd rather spend a lot more and get more power and peace of mind. Rule of thumb; spend more than twice what you think you should spend.
 
Thats what I did just be be safe and hedge my bets for future upgrades. I got an Antec Tru430 for my AMD system. 🙂
