Enough Power?

I have heard a lot of people saying that you need a more powerful power supply to power one's system. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to my situation.

This is what I have:
Epox 8K7A
AMD Athlon XP 1800
RAM - Mushkin PC2100 (DDR) 1 x 256MB, 2 x 512MB

LinkSys LNE100TX
ALBATRON TI4200XP GeForce4 128MB
Sound Blaster Live X-Gamer

Western Digital 100 GB 7200 RPM IDE
IBM 60GB 7200R IDE

Phillips CDRW 800 IDE
Pioneer 106S DVD IDE

Antec PP303X 300Watt

Thanks.

I think I would want a decent 400 watt, but a good 350 shouldn't have any problems. Are you running the system with the PP303, pretty good PS, right now?

Overclock some too.

Ditto..man ppl make a big deal about power supplies..and truthfully i'd like a 400W PS..but my systems runs fine with 2 cd-drives 4 pci cards..1agp and a few other USB stuff..so why buy a bitter one..just to burn more money

so that sould be fine..with ur system config

bye

If it is running fine with the Antec PP why change it. A quality 300watt like antec, sparkle, enermax is better then most no name 500 watters.

that 300 watt antec is a very fine powersupply. it is more than enough IMO. people are to obsessed with "do i have enough power??!!!" all you need is a nice quality PSU, such as your antec

A 350W would be nice but you present 300W Antc should be adequate.
Having a high quality PSU is vastly more important then the peak wattage.

I'm in agreeance with pretty much everybody else. Good quality and lower power rating is much better than a cheaper ps w/higher power rating.
