I have nerdy coworkers, so I have to watch a ton of shows live(ish) if I don't want them spoiled for me at work the next day :(

(Mad Men and Walking Dead are the chief offenders with that... GoT not so much since the shows more or less adhere to the books)

regarding the actual subject of the OP... I don't really get all the TM coverage either. until a full court investigation weighs in, it seems like it's all just talking in circles.

I'm likely more informed than the typical American TV watcher. Informed about important local/national/international matters anyway. Not so much about who's dancing with what dipshit, or which Hollywood whore got caught with a needle in her arm again...

That's what my co-worker says too :D

I gave up tv in 1997, dont miss it.
Recommend you go all selective entertainment. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, iApple. Whatever.

did you know that it's almost impossible to find Titanic on DVD? they're going for over $50 on ebay, amazon ,etc.
