Enlight 7237 - Intake fan

Hello,

Does anyone know the specs on the Enlight 7237 intake fan, which is included with the case?

It's a Sunon fan with a sleeve bearing I believe. Get the model number off the fan and look for it on the list at this Sunon page.

I would replace the fan. Try a Panaflo high output 80mm, while youre at it put a Panaflo 80mm in the back below the PS. That is if you don't want to mod your case like I did.

My EN-7237 came with a Sunon 80mm fan, but i replaced it with a Panaflo L1A 120mm.

Pardon for the simplicity of this question, but this will be my first home-built PC. Can you replace a 80mm fan with a 120mm without having to do heavy mods to the case? It seems like there would be some problem with the size of the hole in back...

You will need to use either a hole saw with a bi-metal blade or a dremel tool to cut the hole for the 120mm fan. To me that would be a smiple mod for some it might as well be brain surgery. It all depends on your sill with tools. If you take your time and think things out you will do fine with some moderate skill with tools.

The problem I ran into with putting a 120 fan in the lower front is that I cut out the retaining tab for the front bezel. It really isn't a problem, the case still closes and is actually a lot easier to get into now.
You might be able to fit a 120mm fan without screwing up the latch but I got in a hurry and chopped away.

A 90mm fan would probably fit a little better with less chance of messing up the bezel latch.
