I bought an Enlight 7237 Mid-Tower case and it came with no fans, now I want to modify it so it can have better cooling.

Does anybody have an Enlight case and can help me and tell me which fans to buy, which size, etc.

Thanks,
Nore

the front intake holds a 80mm fan. You could always cut out the grill over the fan, or just cut out the whole section and put in a 92 mm or 120 mm fan in there.

There's place for an 80mm fan in front, and 80 mm fan in rear.
I thought this case came with the front 80mm fan, though.

Cut out???
Hmmm, I really don't wanna mess with this comp as me and my pops use it and if I mess it up, he's gonna mess me up, so will a 120mm fan really improve over an 80mm???

BTW what fans do you guys recommend, I dont want any loud ones or anything.

Thanks,
Nore

PS: Which Artic Silver Thermal Compound do I need for an 950MHZ T-Bird, the one for large contact areas or small????

I have the same case, mine came with an 80mm fan in the front and I added an 80mm fan in the back.

If you aren't using all your 5 1/4 slots then you can do what I did. I took two of the 5 1/4 slots in the front, took the face plates and glued them together, cut a 3 1/2" hole in the center (80mm) and 4 small holes for the screws. Installed an 80mm fan with a wire grill and popped the face plates back in. The Fan is drawing air inside and shooting it right across the CPU's and then the back fan is pulling out the hot air. Pretty good circulation. The only thing that gets cut is two of the face plates and you can get replacements anywere if you want to put it back to normal.

I bought my 80 mm fan when it was posted in the Hot deals forum for $5 with free overnight delivery from Outpost.com. You might want to search for the thread and see if you still have around somewhere and get the item number to the fans. There is also a larger one for $10. Order it now, and get it within a day or two.

I also have that case and mine also came with an 80mm intake fan in the front. (I believe that's standard issue.) Like Gunslinger I added an 80mm exhaut fan in the rear. I have my hard drive in one of the 5 1/4" bays and use a hard drive cooler that I got from 2cooltek.

Check out the M1A 80mm Panaflo fans at Teamawe.com. You probably want the "tailed" fans, just mount with #6x1-1/4" screws and nylock nuts, plug them in. Make the front one blow in, and the back one blow out.

Or check out the 80mm "quiet" sunons from 2cooltek.com, they also sell the special quick and easy fan screws to mount them.

I hesitate to recommend louder more powerful fans because of the shared status of your computer, or wimpier quieter fans because of all the hot running stuff you have.
