My dad is thinking about getting one of these (ATX). Are they any good?

Never heard of 'em. Generally not a good sign, but there are a lot of new manufacturers trying to break into the PC power supply market, so it's possible they're an established manufacturer who just doesn't make a lot of PC power supplies, or that they are rebadging someone else's hardware.

Specs are okay (not horrible, though not exceptional in terms of max amperage loads), although the ENP-5146GH (460W ATX) claims to meet the "80-Plus" spec, which in theory means its efficiency is very good.

heard of and have one. its a ENP-2120D that i used in a mod. had it for a couple of years and got it used too so i'm guessing they're not bad powersupplies..
