Engineers: What software can I use to draw flow charts?

It was a wonderful freeware program before Microsoft took it over. I haven't looked in years, but an old free version may still be online.

I snagged a Visio CD from a table during one of those free seminars at my university awhile back. :) But yeah maybe it is floating online for free somewhere...

Yeah, someone mentioned that the drawing component is capable of doing flowcharts. I've never used it myself, but I would never want to use a drawing program to do flowcharts.

You should try it... it's not exactly as bad as MS Paint.

The drawing package in OpenOffice isn't like PaintShop Pro or Photoshop.. it seemed more like a vector based package to me, perfect for flowcharts. Thats all I've done with it.
