engineering major decision

im currently in my 2nd year studying computer engineering (when i chose my major i wanted to work more on the computer side), and now im having doubts about it. contrary to what i thought it would be, i am finding that im having more trouble on the software/computer side rather than the electrical part. i love doing the labs in which we build circuits and whatnot but i hate the labs where we have to program stuff, no matter how hard i try i cannot understand anything about programming.
both EE and CE study the same exact courses up until junior year, so i still have a month before summer vacation to decide what i want to do. i feel i would get a good education regardless of what major i choose, but id like to know what job possibilities/opportunities would i have with both majors? would EE open up more jobs than CE?
i am very interested in pursuing something along the lines of speaker design and building in my career in the future (and possibly even opening up my own business), so obviously electrical would be the way to go for that. but in the future do you think there will be more of a demand for computer engineers rather than electrical? what would i expect to be doing with an EE degree vs. a CE degree?

Computer Engineering: Obviously you will be programming more than anything else.
Electrical Engineering: I happen to be EE and the only programming language I have covered is C. I'm basically geared toward the hardware side.

Please don't let the job market be the deciding factor for a major change. There will always be a need for engineers whether it be computer or electrical. Don't believe whatever you hear on the news because they tend to manipulate the facts.
 
What blustori said. Do what you enjoy. You will be happier, and you will be better at it = good money.
 
Still a higher demand for EE IMO, whether its now or 5-10yrs from now. CpE is more specialized, and EEs often program anyway (usually C). If you're not getting the programming yet and have more of a passion for electrical/circuits its almost no question you should be straight EE. There's lots of areas to specialize in from there too, with speakers dealing with analog design and signal processing mostly.
