they both look like great power supplies. (I have an older EG 465 (had it for a year or two) and it has been great for me)

I would think the diferences between the two you posted to be pretty minor.
The EG475AX-VE-SFMA has significantly more amperage on the 5V line ... otherwise they look very very similar
 
The NoiseTaker will have a 12v rail to the mobo and a separate one to devices on the 4-pin connectors. Note the +12V1 and +12V2.
I don't know much about deciphering their model #s, though.

Both are great supplies, but for ~$5 when you're over $100 anyway, the Noisetaker is a better choice (IMO).
 
If you think you want to pay extra for Active PFC, you're wrong. It makes the power supply slightly less efficient, and it's only good if you own a business that has to pay for power differently.
