I got an Enermax EG365P with manual fan control and it doesn't work on my P3-500 w/ Microstar 61630Pro. The computer doesn't even boot, showing 4 red LEDs. Yet, my computer works fine with my generic 230w PSU.
I went back to the shop, they plugged the atx conncetor into an Athlon system and it worked fine. So I brought it back, tried it on my brother's Duron with Gigabyte AMD board and it works as well.
I'm still puzzling as to how a PSU can be incompatible with a motherboard.... any advice/views?
