enermax ps hummms

i just installed an enermax ps in one of my systems and it seems to make a very distinct humm during bootup. it stops when it has completely booted into windows.
is this normal for enermax or do i have a reason for concern?
 
Maybe it hums because it doesn't know the words??? JK!!! 😀


Seriously, it isn't normal for a PS to hum during boot and then get quiet.
 
It's needs to be oiled. This always happens to my Athlon 900mhz computer's PSU fan. During the first 5 minutes of use the PSU fan makes a really loud grinding noise. It goes away after that. But it is time to replace that fan with a dual ball bearing model anyways.
