ANy preferences? I know their both good, but some think Antec is better just b/c it doesn't fluctuate as much as Enermax does.

A friend of mine assembled this :

xp1900+
Soyo Dragon+
2*80gig WD HD
512 ddr
onboard sound
32DDR Radeon
Stock cooling
DVD-R
24x cdrw

on the 300watt antec powersupply that came with his Antec 1030 (not chieftech) and the damn powersupply blew out. Now I know he needed more than 300watts, but there is no excuse for the powersupply to just die. I recommended the Enermax 465-VE(FC) he has not had a problem since.

Enermax is my powersupply of choice!

I have absolutly no problems with my 430watt TruePower Antec PSU. In fact, I would reccomend it to anyone.

I agree; take you pick...but be certain to pick a high enough output for your system. There is absolutely no sense to "economizing" with a power supply. It is the basis on which all your other hardware depends. So get a big one, at least 400W.

I just replaced my Enermax 451 with an Antec TruePower 550. Definitely an upgrade, silence is bliss.

I just ordered an Antec 350 ps. I was thinking about the 330 true power, but you know how the situation is when your mind is numb and you click just about any button you see on the screen. Sure i'll take that. Click!
