I am looking for a case and came across this one. Seems like a good deal since there is free shipping. Just wanted to get some opinions of this case.

Enermax Honeycomb

Or if you have used this one, I would like an opinion as well.

Looks like a sweet pre-modded case for that price, especially with free shipping. (Almost had my credit card out........:D)

That honeycomb case is another "cheapy" pre-modded case seen around vendors. IMO, $89.99 is a hefty price compared to what you can get from PriceWatch vendor (check out Directron).

Nonetheless, it's a nice and light case with side cooling and a top blowhole. :)

Looks pretty sweet, but is expensive for my tastes. probably paying
a lot for the light and the nice side panel design.
nevertheless, it looks cool.

Here is a bit more info on that first case. I think I'll be getting one in within a couple weeks. But it looks like a good case, good points are the top blow hole, ability to put a 120mm fan as the front intake and 2 80mm ones as the rear exhaust. And including the light is good if one likes something like that. What I don't care much for is that honeycomb-look side window, but too each their own of course.

And I wonder where the air comes in for the front intake fan. If it's like others I have had there is probably a small slot underneath. If you place it on carpet that renders that about useless. Even if on a desk not much air gets in.

I happen to be using that second case now (the black version) and so far I like everything about it, except it has that small slot at the front on the bottom as the only place where air can come in using those 4 front intake fans. If on a desk it may be ok, on carpet I'd suggest placing something underneath to raise it slightly. But then dust from the carpet is an issue, unless you have it on a mat as I do. Air gets in, just not as much as it I'd like. But obviously it is enough since I get about the same temp as with the side panel off (need to do more testing though). Same case here includes a 300w power supply. Mostly good for a backup though.
