enermax galaxy dxx 1000w

so i just bought this power supply while it was on clearance for 120 shipped
i know it has been replaced already but just wanted to know if its a good brand/reliable and if anybody has any experience with it

Reviews look good, why are you worried?

just that its a 2007 model(do capacitors age if not used?)
and a guy at xtremesystems had his pop in 2 weeks
weird thing is some reviews said its noisy and some said its quiet its like 50:50

I have the 850w version of that ps and it was very good for its time. I now run a corsair hx1000 but enermax powers several of my builds.
