Enermax EG365P-VE loud?

I just build a computer for my friend and I used Enermax EG365P-VE.
This PSU is great but somehow it's extremely loud. I used Thermoengine /w Delta fan which is whisper quiet comparing to this PSU. Does anyone else has a problem like that?

I just put one in just 10 minuts ago. I just got it from the fedex guy an hours ago I have to say that it's extremely quiet! I also just put in a brand new volcanoII with ASII. Everything is very quiet.

I would say it should be the opposite way round sound wise,anyway I`ve one(350w Enermax) and it`s real quiet,so maybe yours is faulty so RMA it if it`s that loud.

That's a bummer . I just got this one from newegg and it works super quiet. I did notice that the fan spins a little faster after the first minute, probably because the athlon got hotter.

I have the 431 watt one and although its not loud by any measure, you can and do hear it.

its got 2 fans.. so its going to be loud.. the whisper one has fan control for the exhaust.. doesnt make it much quieter..

personally.. i unplugged the internal fan and that made it a lot quieter.. but i dunno if that ruins the life of it.. i dont care i need it quiet..

I just got the whisper model of that power supply. Its quiet, but still lounder than I expected. I wanted SILENCE. Oh well.
