I purchased one of these from Pham Comp. a few days ago and it is on its way to me right now. However, I just read a page at:
http://www.wavesonic.com/power_supplies.htm
This is one of the direct resellers of Enermax in the US and is referenced by Enermax on their HQ main page. The link above seems to indicate that they do not recommend their 351 series PS for anything above 850Mhz. The table shows that the only PS they recommend for 1Ghz is their 451 series. Does this have something to do with stability of the output voltages or not enough wattage or what? AMD lists the 285 series and the 451 series as approved at 1Ghz, but not the 351 series. That seems to rule out wattage since the 285 series is even less. Does that mean that there is something not up to spec on the 351 series or that they just haven't tested it yet? I'd appreciate any explanation anyone can give me. Did I buy the wrong PS?
Thanks,
Realon
