I need to update my sig below. I am using a Zalman 9700NT LED.

I see it rise 1C when I pump air out, and it stay the same when I turn the fan off or pump air in. :(

You would have to have a strange HSF like that. Is it possible to align the air going thru the HSF with the direction of air coming from the big fan?
If not, you may have to shield the HSF from direct air from the big guy. Or maybe try it without the local fan at all. It looks like you might have duelling air flows and the 250 is winning...

Well I have an intake 120 and a rear 120, then the Zalman on the CPU and the 250 pumping air in. At 360FSB, I am 34C at idle, and 55C under load. I guess that's not too bad. I was just hoping to see more of a difference.

With a 250 fan, you really don't need any other except CPU and a low and slow one to make sure there is a little air moving over the HDDs. I'd try removing the rear fan to see what happens - physiclly remove it so it isn't blocking the rear exhaust venting.

In case you havent seen it. Here's the post I made about my experimenting with the Chakra side fan:

"Yesterday I finally got around to testing this 250mm case fan a bit more. A new a/c unit in the room keeps the ambient temps a constant 75F now. Okay, with the 250mm fan on (along with the 2 120mm fans) and blowing air in I keep my rig in sig 43C idle. If I turn the 250mm fan off temps rise 2C. If I set the fan to blow/pull air out of case the idle temps rise 5C to 48C. I didnt test it under load. Figured the temp differences would be pretty much the same. Just thought I would add this little tidbit of an update in case anyone was interested. :)"

And here's the link to the entire thread I made about this case:
