You hit the nail right on the head. It's the second 80mm AC powered fan that clips on the backside of the Power Supply but does it really help create more airflow and 10F cooler for the CPU like they claimed? Since I thought it might not really do much at all.

I'm guessing it might help a little, but I doubt 10F lower CPU temp(unless the fan spins at the opposite direction of the power supply fan). I mean, if you stack 2 fans on top fo each other, the airflow is not doubled.

I still think hte true use is as a failsafe. An Enermax Dual Fan unit will do more for cooling the case/cpu.
