No. Not because I think they're bad for your health or taste bad. I just don't need energy, especially at $2+ a can.

Yup, but mostly only for studying.

If you wanna see studies, there are plenty of studies done with caffeine. You build a tolerance and a dependence so that you can't function normally without it with regular consumption.
It's not really worse than drinking coffee.

Get the juice energy drinks, those are FUUGGEN DELICIOUS! Like rockstar orange or guava.. mmmm.
they are easily the best tasting carbonated drinks I've ever had.
I wish there are caffeine free versions of them, I'd drink it by the case.

I also take theanine supplements when consuming caffeine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theanine
It increases serotonin and dopamine to bring relaxation and increase congnition.

Coolah was the best tasting energy drink, was almost identical to Squirt and had no bad aftertaste. I think it got discontinued, which really really sucks because it was delicious.

2-3 cups of coffee for me a day.

Energy drinks are kind of meh. It's mostly the B-vitamins(B-12). So why not take a B-vitamin with coffee! Hooray!

Coffee is cheap, energy drinks not so much. I got a thinkgy of 36oz foldgers @ ~$7 for example, and thats ~240 cups-o-coffee. Most coffee I was up to was 7 cups a day working dayshift. I hate waking up early.
