Definitely not as good as your common Energizer, but for the price... wow a great deal if you don't mind changing them out a little more often. Remote controllers, etc.

there was a deal for rayovac.. 40 pack for 3 bux? they had rating of 2750.. just saying yea great for remote control etc. prob not great for xbox controllers.. really wonder why people like throwing away batteries so much and not use rechargeable enelope style ARRRGH! polluters..

I use regular batteries for low power stuff like remotes, clocks, and other low power wireless devices (keyboard, mouse, etc). I use rechargeable batteries in cameras and other electronics which I use more often, but most cameras nowadays have their own battery pack

Basically if I don't have to recharge or change batteries after a couple months of use, I prefer to use regular batteries.

Same here. Alkaline batteries still do have their place.

Probably beats Rayovac. I've had them leak on me, especially in freezing weather. Same goes for Kirkland batteries (Rayovac is their OEM.)

So basically if you leave tools in your garage or car during the Winter, stick with a good brand like Duracell Procell or Energizer (Lithium if budget permits) because I've never had them corrode on me.

I had a Duracell leak on me in a less than 2 month old refurb logitech mouse.

According to the A91 link the Eveready batteries are magnesium zinc, not alkaline which would explain the horrible life they produce.

I have problems with rechargables not holding a charge. i have eneloops that suck ass because they stopped holding a charge shortly after getting them.

don't see the point in spending more for rechargables if they aren't going to recharge and i have to throw them away anyway.

I gave up on using rechargeable AAA batteries - the just seem to need replacement too often, more often from self-discharge rather than actually using their power. So I bought a 40 pack of AAA a while back and they should last for years.

Magzinc has no juice, low power only. Alkalines tend to leak.

Eneloop is expensive, but the best option. Hot deal is Ikea version called LADDA its LSD like an Eneloop for 1/3 the price.

Some rechargeables need a few refresh cycles to get full capacity.

All I use are rechargeable batteries they are worth their weight in gold, I haven't had a set go bad on me in years but every device that I use them in had a back up pair so I hardly have to charge them. My mouse and keyboard has been using the same batteries for 4 years now
