Haha it's funny that you say that, because the guy serving the 4 of us did not look happy at all, this guy was just bringing mass trays to us in an endless stream, he looked like he was having the worst night of his life. Don't blame us, blame your employer for making you work 10x harder when endless shrimp rolls around without making much bonus $.

i think its funny how the initial plate has something like 10 scampi, 10 fried, and then the pasta, but when you want more scampi its a smaller tray with like 6 on it...
 
I don't think I could eay enough shrimp to make it worthwhile...

but now if a restaurant had endless ribs....droool.....🙂
 
You guys suck... I told my wife last night that we're going today.. she went to her parents so i gotta wait till next weekend....

LOL...well, I usually manage to make it w/o getting too upset. I just realize that people are there to have a good time, not to make life hell for the server. Just like I would be.

Whenever I run into a deal like that, I always try to figure out how much I ate would have cost had it not been a special... then, if the waiter is a good waiter, I still try to tip 20% of that value, not 20% of the actual bill.

I've seen people with coupons at restaurants for buy one meal, get one free or half price... I firmly believe the tip should be based on the full cost of both meals (as well as how good the waiter is.) Of course, the "you're under no obligation to tip at all" forum members will probably flame this concept; but the rest of us know that they are just rude a-holes.

i always over tip.... from what I heard, most of these people in nyc only makes like 2.99 a hour and rely heavily on tip... wife is a cheap bitch.. she wouldn't leave good tip.. some of these kids are still in school and roughing it... so its kinda sad that when you can afford you wont tip.. wife is wrong and bitchy most of the time... hate going out with her cheap ass family
 
i remember when they had that endless crab. THAT was a deal. $22 but man, if you could down 6lbs, it was sooo worth it. and it was 😀
 
Red Lobster Shrimp taste like frozen fried shrimp you can get at your local grocery store in the freezer section.
