So I ended my WoW account today. yep, its finally over.

I played from when I got home from work till I went to bed almost everyday this summer (worked full time). Never got a lvl 60 character in 4 months of me having the game (made anew char when my friend got it, stopped a char at lvl 30 to make a new one, then pretty much stopped playing once school started)
In order of chars:
18 warlock
30 druid
47 warrior (account over now)
15 mage (lvledup in like 3 nights while bored with warrior)

Just paid my friend back for Mount money and went to blizzard.com and got that sh1t shut down.

good bye WoW!!!

I'm not sure if you realize this...but...

I "ended" my account just for kicks a while back. Yes, yes, the peon was full on crying. After navigating back to my account page, I realized that all I had to do was enter in my payment information again, and the account was reactivated.

So...you may not be playing anymore, but your account certainly isn't gone. For the time being Blizzard is saving your account for that weak moment when you start to wonder what it would really be like to roll a gnome warlock named tiny bubbles. muhahahahah......

im aware, but I wont go abck. I stopped wanting top play when school started, lost motivation. so not so big a deal, just when i think back to it, i miss it. but i still remember how long everything took ::shakes fist in anger::

i made my character to 60 in a few weeks, but i was playing too much...

i pretty much quit when i find out you can play for free on private servers....

never played WoW cause i knew addication is inevitable.

That, and the concept of monthly fees, no matter how well deserved, went against my cheap-skate nature.

sell account?

iirc you can't sell WoW accounts. I agree with the MMORPGs sucks statement, they're fun to play but they completely take over your social life and thats why they suck.

btw AgaBoogaBoo what happened to m-why???

i ended my account recently. I just got tired of it. I tried to sell the account on ebay and the bid went up to 102.50 and then they pulled the listing but at least i got my fees back. Im just curious how there are a few auctions who actually go to completion with a final price of over 200 dollars. Im going to try and list my account again, removing somethings that i think "violates" the rules. I just want to be reimbursed for the 2 game cards i used up playing that mage to level 60.

WTF no level 60? n00B!

That's ok, because WoW is an MMORPG with training wheels.

I cancelled my WoW account in the spring semester. It just got way to boring...way to repetative..not enough vareity. Like he says it really is MMO on training wheels. Nothing has risks, nothing is worth it really.

This is my only hope for the next good MMO...
