Add this on to all the other crap he pulled. This poor guy in the thread nearly took his advice. This is not an issue of personal preference. This is deliberately feeding someone bad advice, advice that has been proven wrong time and again.

Seriously i can take the trolling and what not but this is getting out of hand.

You Linked to a place on Xbit labs that i cannot find. Additionally, you picked 1 benchmark in which is highly optimized for intel, among almost all other benchmarks in which AMD is better. Furhtermore, you continue to use faulty logic. More times than not you dont even have something like this link.

I dont care if you try to decieve me, or someone else who knows what they are talking about. However since these are tech support forums when you start decieving the people that come in here and ask for help, and intentionally misleading them, you have overstepped the rules.

You are not even providing the whole review. The second link was to some random website i have never heard of before. Additionally like i said earlier, you pick ONE benchmark of which is extremely optimized for Intel, and quoted it. You do know there are other programs that encode in MPEG 2 that optimize more for AMD, right? How come you failed to mention that.

Once again, i dont care if you try to fool us, many people here knwo what they are talking about. But when people are asking for advice and you deliberately try to screw them over, is where i draw the line.

I did provide the whole review, I said the X2 wipes the floor when it comes to WMV and XVID encoding.

Sure it's optimized for intel, THAT IS WHY I'M CLAIMING THE INTEL CHIP IS BETTER THAN THE AMD CHIP AT THAT "one benchmark"

No, in the thread you said the Intel beats the AMD in MPEG 2 recordings as a whole, when in fact in very few benchmarks does the AMD get slaughtered. You could have quoted multiple reviews on MPEG-2 conversion that use different software. Instead you went with the one most heavily biased.

As for the Random hardware site. When im buying something i generally dont go to joesbasementhardwarereviews.com or something. I go to somewhere reputable such as AT, Guru3d, X-bit etc... Think about that.

TMPGENC is the most popular mpeg-2 encoder bar none.
You've obviously done VERY little video editing.

My point was the X2 shines in some Video encoding, but not when using TMPGENC.

Well, he doesn't want to shell out 600 for the X2 (that is as low as they are), so I said the 570j would be nice for 350 (ebay).

In terms of single-core chips the 570j is as good as they come w/encoding.

Look this is forum issues. I have already post EVERYTHING i just said, and everything you keep asking in the original thread as well as the other threads in which similiar events have occured. I am not hear to argue this again, or for that matter, any longer. You are intentionally misguiding forum members, and trolling the forums, MANY people can attest to this, I can also link several threads in which this occured.

Thats because A) they aren't good B) your logic is quite often faulty C) you will defend them even when it has been prooven beyond a resonable doubt that you are wrong. In the single core arena, they had strengths (encoding) but now that dual core is out, the single core P4's are useless, and the only reason to get a PD is price.

I agree with the ban for fatty.
