Encrypting links when sending them?

Hi all, recently I needed to do that so that I can send my drawings (mainly for approval) more secured. I’ve come across and used that site: URLCrypt.to - Keeping your links safe
Please give my your opinion about if it is any good because i honestly have no knowledge in that field.
I’ll appreciate your feedback.

While encryption may be an inconvenience for some, the practice of EFTO (Encrypted For Transmission Only) has long been used by the Department of Defense. The purpose is to make all transmitted traffic look the same so that it is not easy for hostile interceptors to focus on "the good stuff." This practice was not done by the user, but by the transmitting organization. By the same token, the receiver's communication unit decrypted the traffic prior to delivery except for bonafide classified material.

What you propose would have to be agreed upon by sender and receiver. Whether it is good or bad would depend on the sensitivity of the link apparent to many eyes.
 
I'm not sure it's necessary. I'm assuming you're using a file locker, and sending the link through email. I'd put the drawings in an encrypted archive, send the link via email, and give the password in person, or on the phone.
 
Lest say i upload file that is around 200mb and get a link from that site. I have no idea what is the security of this link so i want to make it more secure by this method. That is the whole think.
What is that filelocker ? I send the link via mail, skype or telegram chats( another not sure how secure environment).
 
Encrypted links are a waste of time. Bots will eventually find any and all links possible.
Do as lxskllr said, put whatever you want in an encrypted archive, then give the link to that.
Then you can call them up (or...) and tell them the password.
 
You use 7zip or winwrar (or...) and select file, then encrypt it.
It is a option for both programs, you set the password. Not really complicated at all.
