To everyone who may be getting hosed by EMS Computing:

I just tried calling them to see what was going on, in hopes that they are answering their phones again. To my surprise, all I got was a busy signal. I hope these a**holes didn't skip town with all our money.

btw, does anyone know the policy about refunding money on a debit card?? I paid with my bank card that takes money right from my checking account. If these guys went belly up, can I dispute the charges and get my money back??
 
You should probably call your bank to find out their policy. I believe CC companies can handle it differently than a local bank can.

If you got a Visa check card you have "zero liabiliy". Someone took $2924 out of my checking account :| with my card number online and I got it all back within 10 days. Don't know about the other check cards.

 
I got hose by a company about 5 months ago, billed me never sent stuff. I charged it on a Bank of America Debit card with the Visa logo, they put the money back in my account as the disput was investigated, it came out on my favor they never would answer thier phones to verify if they had proffo f shipping, good luck, I am not sure if rules are different from bank to bank
 
I told my mastercard that i was conserned that the store I purchased from had their phone lines disconnected, they just told me not to worry that it happens sometimes. wierdd
 
Is there any particular reason why we have three threads running on this subject? I'm in on this "deal" as well, and I'm pissed too, but this is getting ridiculous.
