Empyrion keeps getting better and better. Granted, it is still probably years away from what I could consider a complete package, but that is only because of how vast the sandbox is.

This is a whole lot better than mine craft in terms of block types, textures and colors.

I have been playing a lot of it recently. I am really enjoying it. Alpha 8 feels a good bit harder, the worlds are huge. At least the starter world, I have not yet gotten off planet.

I have a dedicated server that I run, but I haven't made it public in a while. I'd be willing to open it up if we had enough serious people who want to play. I don't mind all PVE, everyone working and helping each other out, etc... Or certain PVP stuff even, depending on the good nature of it.

I spent most of my time right now in creation mode.

alternatively, if there were enough of us, we could create a faction and join one of the large servers and collaborate together. I'd think we need at least 4 of us a on regular basis to keep me interested in it, though. Nothing worse than playing games by yourself... You know?
