Empty Device Manager!!!

I have Dell Dimension 8250 that I just upgraded to SP2. I even updated everything on the system including all the Windows Updates.

Now my device manager is empty and my scanner is not recognized in the system!

Any idea what is happening? Thanks.

did you restart? after the windows updates

edit: I had SP1 and went to SP2 had no problems though I do recommend disabling the "control center"

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
2. Double-click Plug and Play.
If you receive a Configuration Manager message, click OK.
3. In the Startup Type list, click Automatic, and then click OK.
4. Close Services.
5. Restart the computer.

open control panel and double click on add/remove programs/software. Look for a program named contextplus and click on it and then change remove(uninstall) and reboot. Check device manager and make sure your devices are listed.
