Where you work. How many of your fellow employess come to work on time?

Let's say you are suppose to be in @8AM and they stroll in around 8:05

Remember you are scheduled to be there @8am

Flextime FTW. Some coworkers are there at 6:30 others at 9. As long as the job gets done, I don't see any problems.

I usually don't show up till around 10am. Everyone else gets here "earlier".

We all get to work early where I work. We use the time to talk, drink coffee, and get our work lined out for the day.

Same here... didn't feel like coming in at the usual 7am today so I slept in and go to work at 8:30.

5 minutes late? lol. That's not even considered late where I work. My boss just wants me there to get the work done. If the work starts at 8 AM then I better be there to do it at 8AM.

I work at a help desk... schedules aren't very flexible. They're designed to have more people there during times of the day when call volumes are higher. People CAN'T make their own schedule. I usually punch in a few minutes early and out a few minutes late... they don't mind paying overtime. Not like I can be talking to someone and be like "oh hey, it's 5 PM, your computer's not fixed but I gotta clock out, bye!"

I'm salaried, I come in when I want, take a long as lunches as I want, and leave when I want.

That being said, I always get my work done and rarely work less than 50 hours per week. I love the flexibility though.

Same here, I think people should be responsible enough to get work done without people timing them, or micromanaging them.
I always end up working 30-60 hours a week depending on my deadlines.
There is no sick time in my company, if I get sick I send an email to my boss and tell him not to expect me. The time off here is based on honor system almost, if you can't work then thats that.

As far as time goes; I worked here for about a year now, and no one is here the same time as anyone else unless we have a meeting in the morning. The new guy comes in at 10:30-11 like everyday and goes to lunch at 12 ??? but I guess he is the last one here everyday and works on weekends ?? I don't know ?

honor system here. Show up whenever, do your work either from home or the office...as long as you get it done.
