Really cool animation I am going to have to watch it a few times to catch all of it.
I am not a fan of his but the message was brilliant along with the video itself.

So you don't have to install quicktime bloatware

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
And to the Republic for which it stands
One nation under God

Scrutinize every word, memorize every line
I spit it once, refuel, reenergize, and rewind
I give sight to the blind, mind sight through the mind
I ostracize my right to express when I feel it's time
It's just all in your mind, what you interpret it as
I say to fight you take it as I?m gonna whip someone's ass
If you don't understand don't even bother to ask
A father who has grown up with a fatherless past
Who has blown up now to rap phenomenon that has
Or at least shows no difficulty multi task
And juggling both, perhaps mastered his craft slash
Entrepreneur who has held long too few more rap acts
Who has had a few obstacles thrown his way through the last half
Of his career typical manure moving past that
Mister kiss his ass crack, he's a class act
Rubber band man, yea he just snaps back

Come along, follow me as I lead through the darkness
As I provide just enough spark, that we need to proceed
Carry on, give me hope, give me strength,
Come with me, and I won't stear you wrong
Put your faith and your trust as I guide us through the fog
Till the light, at the end, of the tunnel, we gonna fight,
We gonna charge, we gonna stomp, we gonna march through the swamp
We gonna mosh through the marsh, take us right through the doors

To the people up top, on the side and the middle,
Come together, let's all bomb and swamp just a little
Just let it gradually build, from the front to the back
All you can see is a sea of people, some white and some black
Don't matter what color, all that matters is we gathered together
To celebrate for the same cause, no matter the weather
If it rains let it rain, yea the wetter the better
They ain't gonna stop us, they can't, we're stronger now more then ever, They tell us no we say yea, they tell us stop we say go,
Rebel with a rebel yell, raise hell we gonna let em know
Stomp, push up, mush, fvck Bush, until they bring our troops home come on just . . .

We gonna mosh through the marsh, take us right through the doors, come on

Imagine it pouring, it's raining down on us,
Mosh pits outside the oval office
Someone's trying to tell us something, maybe this is God just saying
we're responsible for this monster, this coward, that we have empowered This is Bin Laden, look at his head nodding,
How could we allow something like this, Without pumping our fist
Now this is our, final hour
Let me be the voice, and your strength, and your choice
Let me simplify the rhyme, just to amplify the noise
Try to amplify the times it, and multiply it by six
Teen million people are equal of this high pitch
Maybe we can reach Al Quaida through my speech
Let the President answer on high anarchy
Strap him with AK-47, let him go
Fight his own war, let him impress daddy that way
No more blood for oil, we got our own battles to fight on our soil
No more psychological warfare to trick us to think that we ain't loyal
If we don't serve our own country we're patronizing a hero
Look in his eyes, it's all lies, the stars and stripes
They've been swiped, washed out and wiped,
And Replaced with his own face, mosh now or die
If I get sniped tonight you'll know why, because I told you to fight

So come along, follow me as I lead through the darkness
As I provide just enough spark, that we need to proceed
Carry on, give me hope, give me strength,
Come with me, and I won't stear you wrong
Put your faith and your trust as I guide us through the fog
Till the light, at the end, of the tunnel, we gonna fight,
We gonna charge, we gonna stomp, we gonna march through the swamp
We gonna mosh through the marsh, take us right through the doors

And as we proceed, to mosh through this desert storm, in these closing statements, if they should argue, let us beg to differ, as we set aside our differences, and assemble our own army, to disarm this weapon of mass destruction that we call our president, for the present, and mosh for the future of our next generation,
to speak and be heard, Mr. President, Mr. Senator

I'm glad I stopped caring about music and lyrics in my early 20's. I see nothing brilliant about this. More repetition of the left's propaganda message without much thought or merit.

wow, is that really the video? i guess they slapped that together in flash or something to get it out sooner D:

first off, let me say that eminem is one of my top 5 favorite emcees.

i am really dissapointed with everything i have heard from his new album, i cant believe i am thinking this...but it seems like he is falling off. both singles suck balls.

secondly, in the months leading up to now, eminem has been pushing this single mosh, acting like it will mobilize the youth to vote (for kerry).

the thing is...if anyone in america did have the power to get people to vote, its eminem. he is probably the most revered and recognizable celebrity in his target demographic.

too bad this single came out a week before the election.

wtf was he thinking? like anyone (if affected by his song, which they probably werent) will be able to register now.

not to mention his lyrics really arent...saying much. kinda just spitting rhetoric. again, this is coming from someone who is 19, really enjoys eminem's music and is voting kerry.

if you want to get the youth of america to vote he should have dumbed down his message, made it more compact and easy to remember. this is what politicans do every day. I guess what I am saying is eminem should stick to just rapping, he seems like a good guy, and can string together some of the most hillarious and clever sht you have ever heard, but somehow he doesnt strike me as a great political mind of our (or the last) generation

heres to hoping encore doesnt suck ass (though im getting a creeping feeling it will...) D:

While I completely respect his work ethic and skills, both as a lyricist and as a performer, I can't say that this song has as much bite as something like "White America".

I like this one better, "Here come the Billionaires" by Felonious Ax.

Here come the billionaires

The Billionaires Are In The House

It's Fifty Billion here. Me and my boy Felonius Ax are takin' the Lear to G-Dog's crib in Crawford. Dickie and Colin are gonna bring some freaks. We gonna have a blast!

The Billionaires are here. We're men of the hour.
We're sitting pretty chillin' in the halls of power.
We're buyin' access. We're seein' progress,
We're makin' a mess of the political process, oh yes!
Our cheese is buyin' us a whole lot of leverage.
When we arrive, they serve a nice cool beverage.
We're the final word on impending legislation
Please no player hatin,' On the regulatin'
Of our corporations and our industries.
We're the foxes with the platinum set of henhouse keys,
Buyin; billion dollar favors for a couple of Gs.
We got money currencies steady blowin' in the breeze.
Ah-oo
We're just livin' our American Dream
Ah-oo
The CEOs are playin' for the Bush Cheney team.
Ah-oo
My president has you all scared.
The Billionaires are comin' so you better beware!
Step out our stretch Hummers and everybody stares.
Parents, lock up your daughters! Here come the Billionaires!

(The Billionaires Are in the House)
(The Billionaires...) The Billionaires are in the White House!
We're dining on pheasant. We're dining on grouse.
(The Billionaires...) Yeah, the Billionaires are in the house!

Dick Cheney worked for us as Halliburton's chief exec.
Each year we're cuttin' Dick another million dollar check.
These federal contracts just land in our lap.
We keep getting' away with all the craziest crap.
We're rippin' off the Pentagon for soldiers' meals.
We bribed Nigerian officials makin' energy deals.
We overcharged America to sell Iraq Kuwaiti oil.
But Dick sticks up for us. He's very loyal.
Ah-oo
If you want to win the game, you've got to make the rules.
Ah-oo
We stole an election right in front of you fools.
Ah-oo
Justice Scalia, I know you got my back.
Let's forget about Iraq and shoot birds that go quack!
We bought a vice president who totally cares.
Kids, get out the way! Here come the Billionaires!

(The Billionaires Are in the House)
(The Billionaires...) The Billionaires are in the White House!
We'll smack you around like an abusive spouse.
(The Billionaires...) Yeah, the Billionaires are in the house!

We are the kings of Capitol Hill, so just chill.
We had a hand in drafting the energy bill.
Drug Company's pockets must be lined
So Medicare Reform was made with us in mind.
Colin Powell's son gave us the royal jewels
When he relaxed on the media ownership rules.
We say Bush is OUR president, you know we ain't kidding.
He's takin' our money and doin' our bidding.
Ah-oo
Everybody bow to the king.
Ah-oo
When it's over, we'll own everything.
Ah-oo
Our terror-alert system got you all on your knees
While we're pickin' your pockets and snatchin' your cheese.
We got the USA by it's curly short hairs.
So look out below! Here come the Billionaires!

(The Billionaires Are in the House)
(The Billionaires...) The Billionaires are in the White House!
We're sucking your blood like a bloated louse.
(The Billionaires...) Yeah, the Billionaires are in the house!

Enron is in the house! (In the White House)
Halliburton is in the house! (In the White House)
FOX News Corp is in the house! (In the White House)
Bechtel is in the house! (In the White House)
Citigroup is in the house! (In the White House)
Exxon/Mobile is in the house! (In the White House)
Phillip Morris is in the house! (In the White House)
Monsanto is in the house! (In the White House)

This administration's preoccupation
Is directing the nation to wealth consolidation.
All those taxes that you pay, they'll be comin' our way
Upon a platinum tray, so don't play!
No one can stop us. No one dares.
Run for the hills! Here come the Billionaires!
Run for the hills! Here come the Billionaires!
Here come the Billionaires!

A little late on the boat here but I caught it today. From the site hosting the video:
Now, it?s up to the broadcasters. Will they ban the top selling musical artist for being anti-establishment while they allow other propaganda to air? Or will they finally allow an artist who has the courage to speak out to take center stage and utilize the airwaves for something other than typical celebrity fodder?
How is this song "anti-establishment" if the message (in the video at least) is to go out and vote? Is there anything more PRO-establishment than voting?

Further, music and politics don't mix. At least not when you have to spell things out directly to the listener. This song has a shelf life of about two weeks. As soon as the election is over there goes any power this song may have had. Would you want to hear an explicit anti-Reagen song today? Many of the protest songs from the 60's can be applied to any situation because the artist didn't have to spell out the message (f*ck Bush) to the listener.
