hey, ya bastard, i graduated from Center Line! Yeah, w sucked at sports, but we were academic geniuses... 😉

I'm not jealous of him for a few reasons:

1. he has NO family. Sorry, i enjoy mine, and woul not give them up to be a millionaire.

2. His fans are not exactly the brightest stars in the sky

3. He will be a has-been in 10 years, and on VH1 talking about how some big rap guy hung him out the window of a hotel like Vanilla Ice.

Eminem is simply the product of a marketing study the RIAA did, the conclusion of which said that teen males want to hear the kind of stuff he sings.

Eminem may be a poser, but he is by leaps and bounds one of the most phenominal MC's in existence.
I've been listening to rap my entire life (!'m 24 now). I was leary about a white rapper at first, but I think I've heard almost everything he's every released along with tons of unreleased tracks, rap battles, and freestyle sessions on the radio and I would, without hesitation, rate him as the best MC I have ever heard.
He has more than once shown up MC's like JUICE and Canibus in freestyle competitions (they're also VERY good, by the way).

Its so funny how people defend Eminem as a. a "slick individual" with business sense or b. that he's better than us because he has millions.

When will you mental midgets realize that he and people like him are media creations - he became famous because the recording industry recognized the proift potention of a wigger and picked one out of the hat of wannabes floating around. The fact that has has millions of dollars has ABSOLUTELY no bearing on whether he is a good musician, smart individual, hardworking, or "better" than us. The fact that a lanky white kid makes so much money bouncing around acting like a black person, and then proceeds to rewrite his life to make the persona more legitimate, is PROOF that money and "success" do not fill within the true characteristics that measure a man.

Money isn't everything - if it was, would a white Sambo be rich?


 
My dear AntNYC, Eminem hasn't accomplished much - those "nerds" you speak about are the people that have accomplished alot and have brought him his wealth, and tons more for themselves. Eminem is just a marionette doll - why all the gay dissing, only to end up sinign with the world's most recognizable homosexual, Elton John? Because his MASTERS yanked his leash and told him to.
See, I would have absolutely no problem going on MTV and saying what I said in the above message, offline in the real world, or to YOUR face, but I don't have the time to develop a persona and jump around like a clown and pretend to be black, which seems to be the prerequisite for getting airtime on MTV.

His whole deal is that he pisses everyone off, if we ignore him....he will fade away. BTW, 8-mile isn't that bad. I used to be at 11 mile and vandyke myself 😀 Centerline area
