Embarq email problems?

I have Embarq for phone and DSL. When I go to the Netflix site, there is a message that says I need to verify my email address. I enter it and it seems ojk until the next time I go to the site and the message is back.

I just not tried to buy a game off steam and it says it needs to verify my email address. It sends me an email and when I click it to verify it says there is an error verifying my email address.

WTF is going on? Anyone else with Embarq experiencing this?
 
i have centurylink dsl and dont have this issue. Are you sure its not a spam filter or something on your email client?

Don't think so. Been using the same email client forever and I used to get emails from them. I haven't made any changes to my email client. Nothing shows up in the junk folder.
