Embarassing situation at work

I was in our hardware room working on a broken laptop. While I was working on it I had an itch right up in the crack of my butt. Seeing as how there was no one else in the room I proceeded to itch it. It was persistant and required a bit of vigorious digging to satisfy. After about another 5 minutes of work I realized I needed a smaller screwdriver and went to go get it. As I did so I realized a webcam was on the counter behind me pointed to the area I was working. The light was on. I checked to see if it was recording and noticed it was streaming.

The phone rang in the room. It was my boss's boss it seems both he and my boss were testing the webcam so we could stream the next quartlery meeting on our website and had been doing so for the last ~15 minutes 😱

At least I wiped my hands with a cleaning wipe and thew it away

Edit: He was straight faced when he called. It was just kinda the "Uh....yeah....you should know you on camera...." voice although he didn't say it. (Not like he needed to) My boss came around later with a stupid little grin on his face and showed my the IP address to access the streaming viedo from. Thank god it wasn't recording!
 
Situational awareness FTW. Do you not know where webcams are installed in your own workcenter? You're obviously a PC technician/fixit guy of some type. You probably INSTALLED that cam yourself. Dumbass. 😛

If it winds up on Youtube, it serves you right for being Captain Oblivious.

Eh? It was just hooked up to an extra laptop and was just sitting on the counter behind me. I think they got the webcam today. A desktop was blocking it from view on the way in. Here is a diagram by a 3-year old to explain:

Sounds like after 5 minutes of digging/scratching a small screwdriver was sacrificed after the bigger one wasn't getting the itch.
