Email notification on PM's?

Any plans on introducing this? Is it an option that has been intentionally turned off?

I'm guessing this would make the number of email notifications skyrocket. If many of the email accts are full/bad, you've got a buttload coming back to clog up the email here.
 
optional would be nice... hell, pm flood protection would also be pretty nice (especially after seeing a few people having mass pm 'contests')
 
We won't be adding that feature due to the load that would put on servers, it takes away from the fact that this is a forum not an ICQ center 🙂.
