Crickets in a Bush/Clinton comparison thread...

(When the only refutation thus far consists of opinion, and 'Clinton isn't running for President')

*Shock*

Kennedy and Roosevelt are dead. Today Democratic Party = Clinton.

Kennedy's party was vastly different from the Democratic party of today. When has a Dim lately said "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. I was a Democrat back then and proud of it. I had to leave when Clinton was elected the second time.

and you're "Proud" of Bush???

YEP!!

If the Rich don't like they can leave.

You really want that? Who is going to pay for taxes and Democrat social programs once the rich are gone?

The larger middle class and upper middle class. Not to mention a new upper class. The upper class is always replaceable-- look at Russian history. They've been purged numerous times and somebody new fills in where they left off.

Yea...and who is going to pay off Bush's big deficits, spending and a few BIG GOVERNMENT social programs of his own!

Lowest tax base in 30 years (based on GDP)

Highest deficit spending ever.

Damn liberals...oh.....wait.....

P.S. It doesn't matter who is in power....they both spend like hell. I can't stand the stupid @ss spending and deficits we run up in this country. I hate continued debt. It's one thing to borrow once and awhile....but for 32 of the last 35 years.....piled on debt. PORK!!!

When Russians are purged the purgers take the wealth. It still remains within Russia.

That was not the only refutation. Stop lying.

You guys sure do like to toss the ?liar? accusation around don?t you?

Page one recap:

-Right wing mass email
-Mislead sheep
-Clinton isn?t running
-Dick Cheney send that to you?
-Misleading (simplifying complex issues into good/bad.)
-messed up world view
-These three are just BS partisan stuff

About the only thing properly debunked (ith substantial, non-subjective analysis) was shadowninja:

Clinton awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Yugoslavia - good...
Bush awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Iraq - bad...

1995/08: Halliburton hires Dick Cheney as CEO.
1997/02: Halliburton loses LOGCAP renewal to Dyncorp for the rest of Clinton's term, except ongoing Balkans work.

Either people are getting lazy, or they are having a difficult time refuting this comparison.

I?m starting to get the gist of this sign now.

only responding to a couple of the important ones....

yes, but he didn't mislead anyone about Serbia having WMD's.

Clinton bombs Christian Serbs on behalf of Muslim Albanian terrorists- good...
Bush liberates 25 million from a genocidal dictator - bad...

Clinton bombs Chinese embassy - good...
Bush bombs terrorist camps - bad...

who's saying either of those Clinton things are good? liking Clinton as a president doesn't mean that you agreed 100% with everything he did.

Bush lands on aircraft carrier in jumpsuit - bad...
what was bad about that was the mission accomplished statement, when the mission obviously was far from accomplished.

Stock market crashes in 2000 under Clinton - good...
Economy on upswing under Bush - bad...

Clinton -> 7 good years, one bad year
Bush -> 4 bad-to-mediocre years

Clinton says Saddam has nukes - good...
Bush says Saddam has nukes - bad...

Clinton calls for regime change in Iraq - good...
Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad...

I obviously can't speak for Clinton, but I imagine that he would have given the inspectors time to work, and would have attempted to build a broad coolition of troops before invading (also, I imagine that he wouldn't have tried to wage 2 wars at once).

Milosevic not yet convicted - good...
Saddam turned over for trial - bad...

quotes? who's saying that Saddam being turned over for trial is a bad thing? or that Milosevic not being convicted is a good thing? I'd like to meet them and punch them in the face :)
