email/ hotmail question?

is there a way to download your messages from your hotmail account to outlook on your computer? i know how to do it with a pop3 account, but in the outlook options for the hotmail account, you dont have the same options??? can anyone help?

i know how to add it, but it just views the messages on my hotmail account. i want it to download it from the server, and erase them from the server to save space on that account... like a normal pop3 account... is this possible?

doesn't it delete the messages if you delete them from outlook?
