email getting as bad as junk mail from the Post Office

I get sale flyers in my mailbox that are delivered after the sale is over and today I received an email offer from HP that says " Hurry, this offer only lasts until 12/31/06 ! :roll:

I think if it said 1/31/06 it might be a typo but not 12/31/06.
