I travel a lot and I need a way to get my work emails from hotels and such on the road but When i get home i still want them to be on my computer at home. What is the best way to do this? I see some people i work with use Outlook webaccess and I can't figure out how get it for my email. Are there any better ways to do this. I can use the webmail from road runner but it takes it off the server and when I get home it is gone and I can't see any of the emails I have at home(that i have already received).

Those really don't help me because they don't let me see the emails I already have. I already have a personal gmail account but I need something for my work email

Unless you're the systems admin at your company, you don't.

You would need to find out what kind of mail server your company uses, and what external connections they allow.

If people at work are able to use Outlook web access, then you might want to ask someone (your IT department, perhaps?) for help in using it as well. That would be the best solution, if it's available.

I was thinking about doing that but is there a good way to synchronize between my laptop and my work desktop?
